In a press conference Tuesday at a cafe in downtown Seoul, representatives of the civic groups that make up the Headquarters for a National Campaign to Deter Japan`s Distortion of History Textbooks declare a joint drive with Japanese civic groups sympathetic to the cause. In Tokyo, 12 groups issued a similar joint statement the same day.
