Suwon mayor busted for graft

Suwon City mayor Sim Jae-Duck is arrested Monday on charges of accepting bribes from construction firms. Suwon District Court issued the Suwon District Prosecutors Administration a warrant to arrest Sim on suspicion that he received 230 million won in return for giving preferential treatment on apartment building permits and public works contracts between August 1997 and May 1998.
