The United States considers South Korea one of the most active practitioners of industrial espionage, according to a report by the U.S. National Counterintelligence Center (NACIC).
According to the NACIC report, which was quoted on the Internet Website of U.S. television network ABC, Korea continues to pursue American industrial knowhow and technology and sometimes even resorts to illegal means to obtain it. Other countries named on the list were Japan, China, India, Israel, France and Taiwan.
The report, which was submitted to the U.S. Congress, was based on the results of a survey of selected companies on ``Fortune`` magazine`s top 500 firms.
