Eminem wins three Grammy Awards

Rapper Eminem picked up three trophies, including the prize for best rap solo performance, at the 43rd Grammy Awards ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Thursday.

The focus of protests for lyrics that are viewed as offensive to women and gays, Eminem won the solo award for ``The Real Slim Shady,`` the best rap album trophy for ``The Marshall Mathers LP`` and shared the prize for rap performance by a duo or group for ``Forgot About Dre.``
