Seo Tai-ji to join hands with Chaegae & Aska to advance to Japan

Pop music superstar Seo Taiji is preparing to join forces with popular Japanese musicians Chagae & Aska in a bid to make inroads into the Japanese market next spring.

An official of BMG Japan said Monday, ¡°Seo Taiji will issue albums through our label and is now laying the groundwork for publicity activities and performances in Japan with the help of Chagae & Aska Productions.¡±

Chagae & Aska officials reportedly became interested in Seo¡¯s music after they saw some 5,000 fans pack the Kimpo Airport lounge to see him off after his performance in Seoul.

¡°BMG Japan plans to issue Seo¡¯s fifth and sixth Korean records as one double album and to include one song in English,¡± the official said. ¡°He is expected to come to Japan in March.¡±
