Let's not lose it

The Korean women's basketball team is left with one more game before reaching the final 8 tournament round.

The team's opponent will be Cuba. If Korea (2 wins/2 losses) can beat Cuba (1 win/3 losses), the Korean team will advance to the quarterfinals.

Leading the Korean side will be the "Missy" combo of Chung Eun-Soon (Samsung Life Insurance) and Chun Joo-Weon (Hyundai Engineering & Construction). Chung, who was the flag bearer for the North-South joint entrance at the opening ceremony, has averaged 13 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in the 4 games, fulfilling her role as the eldest sister. Chung, 196cm, has pledged to seal up Cuba's main scorer, Martinez, who is 11cm taller.

On the other hand, Chun will lead the offense and defense, in particular breaking down the irregular Cuban defense with her expert game leading and bold penetration moves. By defeating Cuba, Korea will be able to secure the 6th spot, its second best performance since the silver medal achieved in the 1984 L.A. Olympics.
