Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur gained two goals in the FA Cup Fourth Round, leading the team to the round of 16.

Son has scored two goals in the second half of the round of 32 in the 2022-2023 FA Cup against Preston in EFL Championship on Sunday, ending up being the main contributor to Tottenham’s landslide victory by three to zero. It is his first multi-goal record since October 13 last year, when he recorded two goals in a UEFA Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt. With the double recorded on Sunday, Son scored eight official goals this season, including four EPL goals.

Son’s first goal was a mid-range shot in the fifth minute of the second half. Right before the right side of the penalty area, 27 meters away, he smashed a left-footed curler into the left corner. BBC described the goal as his best of this season, writing, “He found space 30 yards out.”

In the 24th minute of the second half, he turned and finished a left-footed goal into the right corner from the middle part of the penalty area. Until replaced by Bryan Gil in the 40th minute, he recorded four shots, all of which were on target. "I needed those goals for my confidence," he told BBC Sport, adding, “As a striker or as an attacking player, the important thing is that you get that goal.”

Arnaut Danjuma, on loan from Villarreal since last Thursday, scored the game's final goal in the 42nd minute of the second half, confirming the team's victory. He gained a point just 16 minutes after joining as a substitute, making an impressive debut in Tottenham. He is expected to vie for a preferred position against Son.
