Samsung Electronics unveils Galaxy A in China

Samsung Electronics has announced Thursday that within two weeks, it will roll out the three models of the 2016 "Galaxy A" (pictured), a low-and mid-priced smartphone, allowing the use of its mobile payment service "Samsung Pay" in major markets including China. The launch will come in early 2016 in Korea. The new models will be distinguished by their screen sizes. The varieties will include the 5.5-inch model "Galaxy A7," 5.2-inch "Galaxy A5," and 4.7-inch "Galaxy A3."

The new Galaxy A series have succeeded the design concept of the Galaxy S6, which is characterized by the combination of glass and metal in material. The Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 come with the fingerprint sensor and magnetic security transmission (MST), making it possible for users to use the Samsung Pay service.

The three new models are equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera, both of which have the F1.9 aperture lens. All of the models come in four colors – black, white, gold, and pink gold. The prices are to be determined soon.
