Italian auto giant Fiat will enter the Korean market in January next year.

The Asia-Pacific headquarters of Fiat-Chrysler officially announced Wednesday its plan to sell Fiat cars in Korea. The carmaker plans to launch three models in Korea -- the Fiat 500, the convertible Fiat 500 C and the seven-seat SUV Freemont.

Chrysler Korea, the official importer of Fiat cars, said it will establish a national sales and service network and employ "differentiated" marketing activities.
