F-15K fighter jets form a queue at a runaway Monday in the Air Force 1st Combat Flight Wing in the southwestern city of Gwangju while taking part in “Max Thunder,” the largest joint air defense exercise between Korea and the U.S. To run through May 18, the drill will bring together the strongest air combat capabilities of the two sides with 60 fighter jets and planes.
