Traditional Korean wrestling

In an international friendly match of "ssireum," or traditional Korean wrestling, held Thursday in Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang Province, Ahn Tae-min (left), struggles with his 2.3-meter-tall rival Curtis Johnson of the U.S. in the 90-kilogram weight class. Ahn used his refined skills to bring down the American giant on the sand. The Korean national team defeated foreign teams consisting of wrestlers from the U.S., Spain, Mongolia and Russia, 8-5.
