Waves engulf Haeundae Beach

Big waves batter Haeundae Beach in Busan Sunday, as Muifa, the ninth typhoon of the year, moves northwest toward the west coast of the Korean Peninsula. The typhoon is forecast to bring up to 300 millimeters of heavy rain on Jeju Island and Yellow Sea islands by Monday. Strong winds will also likely affect many inland areas.
