The Golden Lion of baseball

Chungam High School baseball players toss their coach Lee Young-bok into the air Monday after beating Gwangju Jeil High School, 6-1, in the final of the 65th Golden Lion Championship. Played at Jamshil Stadium in southern Seoul, the competition also marked the final round of the first weekend league hosted jointly by The Dong-A Ilbo, Sports Dong-A and the Korean Baseball Association. Chungam’s title was its third following wins in 1990 and 2009.
