Heat wins Game 1

The Miami Heat defeated at home the Dallas Mavericks, 92-84, in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The trio of LeBron James (24 points), Dwyane Wade (22 points) and Chris Bosh (19 points) scored a combined 65 points for Miami, which beat Dallas in the 2006 finals, 4-2. James (right) and Mavericks point guard Jason Terry get physical in the game.
