Lawmaker and Volunteer

Rep. Lee Jae-oh, who was elected to parliament in the July 28 by-elections, gives deep bows Friday in a show of gratitude at a senior citizens` welfare center in Seoul’s Eunpyeong district. Lee has performed volunteer work at the center over the past 11 years. “Politicians should not change after an election,” he said. Blaming himself for arrogance, Lee promised a fresh start and stressed his commitment to politics for the working people.
