2.5 Mln Muslims in Mecca

Muslims Tuesday congregate at Kaaba, a sanctuary set up inside the mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the sacred place of Islam on the occasion of Hajj. A pilgrimage to Mecca is something a Muslim must do at least once in his or her lifetime. Despite fears over H1N1 flu, 2.5 million Muslims have visited Mecca for this year’s Hajj.
