Thaksin Supporters Rally in Bangkok

Tens of thousands of supporters of former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra last night stage a rally outside of the Government House in Bangkok. The country’s political condition, which had apparently stabilized for a brief time, is now facing another crisis as anti-government protesters are demanding that parliament dissolve.
