Snow-capped Mount Deogyu

Amid freezing temperatures yesterday, Mount Deogyu in Muju, North Jeolla Province, is covered with snow. The cold spell is expected to peak today, with morning lows ranging from minus five to 15 degrees Celsius (minus 12 in Seoul, minus 15 in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, and minus five in Busan) and begin retreating from Thursday.
