Posted November. 26, 2008 03:10,

The restoration of Hambaek Station in the town of Shindong, Jeongseon County, Gangwon Province, is completed yesterday. The station was built in 1957 to transport anthracite for the mining industry in Taebaek, but was torn down in Oct. 2006 as part of railway restructuring. Designated "Love Village No. 1" by the National Archive of Korea, the station will be a museum for Korea’s mining industry in the 1950s.
