Blue Sky Price Tagged $18 Billion

The picturesque clear blue sky is seen above the Beijing Olympics’ main stadium. Local Chinese people jokingly say that this must not be Beijing. The Chinese government has spent a total of 120 billion yuan, or 18 billion dollars, to reduce Beijing’s notorious pollution prior to the opening of the Olympics.
