Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force’s destroyer Sazanami leaves the port of Kure yesterday with emergency relief goods for the victims of the recent earthquake in China. The ship is scheduled to enter the Chinese port of Zhanjiang on June 24. It will be the first entry to a Chinese port by a Japanese warship since World War II ended in 1945.
