Chaos in Taiwanese Parliament

Legislators of Taiwan’s ruling Democratic Progressive Party on Friday are flocking toward Speaker of the Legislature Wang Jing-ping and are trying to seize the podium from the speaker by force. Taiwanese legislators are resorting to force over a bill to change the composition of the Central Election Commission, ahead of the presidential election slated for March 2008.
