Geumgang Pine Tree to Be Reborn as Pillar for Gwanghwamun

The Geumgang pine tree, taken by the Cultural Heritage Administration from the Baekdu-daegan mountain chain. The tree boasts annual ring of 150 years. The Geumgang pine is so well-built that it is believed to live for 1,000 years and last another 1,000 years after death.
