The prosecution has reportedly delivered their opposing views to Cheong Wa Dae regarding President Roh Moo-hyun viewing the Arirang performance of North Korea.
An official of the prosecution said, There is no precedent for punishing ordinary citizens for viewing the Arirang performance, however, under the consideration that it is improper for a head of state to view a mass propaganda performance of a communist regime, we have articulated our opposition several times.
However, the Supreme Prosecutors Office has also released their official opinion: We have not gotten any official requests to review the matter of President Roh viewing the Arirang performance, thus we did not deliver any opinions to Cheong Wa Dae.
