“Love for Rice”

Large-sized characters, “Love for rice and love for the country,” in a paddy near a railway crossing the town of Gugok in Sangdong-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, is drawing the people’s attention. Each character made with “Jado,” purple rice, is 19 by 21 meters. To encourage the passengers of the Gyeongbu Railroad Line to consume domestic rice, the Yeongnam Agriculture Institute at the National Science of Crop Science of the Rural Development Administration and the Agricultural Technology Center in Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, created the writing.
