Orions player Kim Seung-hyun began the year with a good start. On January 1, Kim led his team in a come-from-behind victory, 85-75, in a home game against KT&G in Daegu, scoring 18 points and adding nine assists in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 3,970 cheering fans, including baseball player Yomiuri Giant Lee Seung-yeop.
The Orions are now tied for fourth place with Dongbu, Samsung and ET Land, all recording 13 wins and 14 defeats.
Kim Seung-hyuns defense completely blocked Joo Hee-jung, making it possible for him to only score three points, which left KT&G to wrap up four consecutive away game wins and fall to eighth place (12 wins 15 defeats).
