South, North Teams Advance in Tourney

South and North Korea have both advanced to the semifinals in the AFC Youth Championship 2007.

North Korea won against Iraq 2-0 in the quarterfinal at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata on November 6. Before that, South Korea defeated Australia 2-1 in the quarterfinal.

South Korea will have a semifinal game with Japan at 7:30 p.m. on November 9. Japan advanced to the semifinal after beating Saudi Arabia 2-1. North Korea will have a game with Jordan.

The teams that advance past the semifinals will participate in the finals in the World Championship in Canada, 2007.
