GS Group and Kim & Chang Now “Related”

Huh Chang-soo, GS Group Chairman, and Kim Young-moo, the representative lawyer of the country`s biggest law firm Kim & Chang, become related by marriage.

"Huh Yoon-young, the 30-year-old eldest daughter of Chairman Huh, and Kim Hyun-joo (34), son of the lawyer Kim, are getting married at the Seoul Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu on October 23," GS Group announced. They met while studying abroad at New York University in the U.S.

Kim, who has one son and one daughter, tied the knot with a Hyundai Group family member previously as well in 2003 when his daughter Sun-hee married Chung Moon-sun (director of BNG Steel Co.), a grandson of Hyundai Group founder Chung Ju-young. Chung Moon-sun is the son of the late Hyundai Aluminum Chairman Chung Mong-woo, who himself is the fourth son of the Hyundai Group founder.
