Court Denies Da Vinci Code Complaint

On May 16, the Seoul District court ruled against a complaint by the Christian Council of Korea (head: Reverend Park Jong-soon) against Sony Pictures Releasing of Korea Inc., a movie distributor, that it should suspend the release of the movie “Da Vinci Code”. The court said, “It seems unlikely that this movie will change the public perception of Christianity.”
