The Colorado Rockies’ Kim Sun-woo and the San Diego Padres’ Park Chan-ho had very different results against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Kim added his fifth victory of the season, his personal best, against the Dodgers while Park was pushed out of the starting pitching rotation after his “worst pitching ever” on Monday.

In an away game at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday, Kim allowed four runs in five innings with four hits, two walks, and four strikeouts, but was the winning pitcher, backed up by the batters. Two out of Kim’s five wins are against the Dodgers, and Kim’s victory on Wednesday was his fourth consecutive.

However, Park allowed two runs in 1 1/3 innings pitched against the Dodgers, his former team, on Monday. This was a fatal blow for Park. Padres coach Bruce Bochy said on Wednesday, “Pedro Astacio will be the starting pitcher against Washington this Sunday. Park will stand by in the bullpen.”
