Typhoon Nabi Brings Massive Surge

A huge wave pounds onto a breakwater at Jeju Island yesterday as it begins to feel the effects of Typhoon Nabi. The National Disaster Prevention and Countermeasures Headquarters issued a typhoon advisory of “Yellow,” the third out of four warning levels, to the cities of Busan and Ulsan, Jeonnam and Gyeongsang Provinces, and Jeju Island and asked for thorough preparations. More than 100 millimeters of rain accompanied with heavy winds will pour into these areas.
