“Please Convince the President, First Lady Laura Bush”

A group of American women marched to the Crawford ranch in Texas on August 18 with a huge letter addressed to the First Lady, Laura Bush. They paraded to a police station just outside the Crawford ranch and delivered a bundle of oversized letters, saying, “Laura Bush, please convince President George W. Bush to meet Cindy Sheehan, a mother who has lost her son in the Iraqi war” to the White House secretary.
