Men Can Choose Military Enlistment Date through the Internet

The Military Manpower Administration now offers enlistment date information service for the convenience of men who are of military service age. As of yesterday, they can obtain this information through the internet (www.mma.go.kr).

By clicking on “Outlook of Enlistment” on the homepage, they can assess the possible enlistment date and available units after entering their names and resident registration numbers.

Therefore, this service enables men to choose preferential enlistment dates after confirming the possible enlistment dates, units that are available to them, and the monthly number of enlistments.

Those who work in public organizations instead of military service can also obtain information about enlistment periods which are announced by individual municipal or county level organizations and access possible dates for summons and service period at real time.

The Military Manpower Administration added that the service also offers other related information such as a process of dealing with public petition, enlistment information in individual counties, and the application of military service for those who are staying abroad.
