Mount Taebaek: “Snow World”

Mount Taebaek (1567 meters), known as a sacred place for winter climbing, had much snow recently. Climbers gave themselves up to a “white world” on the peak of the mountain ranges near in the city of Taebaek in Kangwondo. As there was heavy snow in Kangwon province, climbers on Taebaek mountain number 4,000 on weekdays and 8,000 on weekends.
