Rice: “Minister Ban is my First Guest”

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (pictured right) welcomed Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon to her office in Washington on February 14, saying, “You are the first guest who visited this room after my inauguration.” Minister Ban replied, “I think it is very fortunate to hold a conference at this critical moment.”
