Launch of Stock Futures Exchange

The Korea Stock Futures Exchange officially launched on January 27. It is a combination of the stock market division, the KOSDAQ market division, the futures market division, and the KOSDAQ committee. Prime Minister Lee Hae-chan, Finance Minister Lee Hun-jae, and Chairman of Financial Supervisory Commission Yoon Jeung-hyun (from the right in the first row) are browsing the inside of the Korea Futures Stock Exchange in Joongang-dong, Jung-gu, Busan. It started as an incorporated company with 100 billion won in capital and is comprised of five business sections including the management support division, the market watch commission, the stock market division, the KOSDAQ division, and the futures market division. Among them, the stock market division, the KOSDAQ division, and the market watch commission will remain in Seoul.
