Leaders of Both Parties in One Sitting

The Uri Party and the Grand National Party (GNP) held a “four-way talk” on the morning of December 21 at the National Assembly floor restaurant, with ruling Uri Party floor leader Chun Jung-bae, Uri Party chairman Lee Bu-young, GNP Chairwoman Park Geun-hye, and GNP floor leader Kim Deok-ryong (from the left) participating. Lee pressured, “We must fear the people’s eyes the most,” at which Park retorted, “The minority parties do not have much to compromise.”
