Lee Jong-hyok of North Korea “Experiences Video Phone”

Seven North Korean delegates, including Vice Chairman of Chosun Asia Pacific Peace Committee Lee Jong-hyok (right), are talking on video phones with SK Telecom Vice President Cho Jung-nam (left) while visiting SK Telecom’s Showroom in Bundang, Gyeonggi on June 16. They are visiting Seoul for an international conference commemorating the fourth anniversary of the 6/15 South-North Joint Declaration,

The North Korean delegation listened to the descriptions of overall mobile phone service and experienced wireless internet, live video communication, electronic payment service, and others. SK Telecom also explained about the satellite digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) service which they will introduce through their daughter company, TU Media.
