A Chinese history book, which describes Goguryeo history as part of Korean history, was additionally founded on February 15.

The history book ‘漢文化論綱’ (a class of Chinese argument), which was published by Beijing University in 1993, authorized Goguryeo history as part of Korean history in paragraph 3, chapter 3, titled, “the Cultural Exchange between China and the Chosun Dynasty,” which contains the history of cultural exchanges between ancient Korea and China and treats the cultural exchange between Goguryeo and China in the 漢唐 (Han and Dang Dynasty) era individually.

漢文化論綱, which was jointly written by four professors of Beijing University, states that the Goguryeo kingdom glorified scholarship and archery by citing two 新舊唐書 (old and new books about Dang Dynasty).

Especially because this book contains the cultural exchange between Gochosun and China, it shows a contrast with China’s Northeast Asia Project which intends to distort the history of Goguryeo and Gochosun.

This book, which mainly focuses on the cultural exchanges between Korea and China, China and Japan, and China and Vietnam, subscribes the cultural exchange between Gochosun and China in the 周漢 (Zhou and Han Dynasty) era; that between the Three Han Dynasties and China in the 漢魏 (Han and Ui Dynasty) era; that between Baekje and China in the Han and Dang Dynasty era; that between Goryeo Dynasty and China in the 五代·宋 (Five Era and Song Dynasty) era; and that between Chosun Dynasty and China in the 明淸 (Ming and Ching Dynasty) era separately in the Korea and China paragraph.

Early this month, ‘中韓關係史’ (the history of relationship between China and Korea – the ancient volume), which describes Goguryeo history as part of Korean history and is written by six Beijing University historians of the younger faction in 1998, was presented.
