The temperature for Seoul on Monday is predicted to be 1 degree Celsius, which would be the lowest this fall, indicating to many how closely winter is approaching.

Because of the strong winds, it is possible that the temperature might actually fall below zero degree Celsius.

The weather station forecasted on Sunday that the lowest temperature on Monday morning will be 1 degree Celsius for Seoul, 0 degree Celsius for Chongju, -3 degrees Celsius for Chunchon, -5 degrees Celsiusfor Daegual-lung, along with some ice in the central inland and mountain regions.

The weather station forecasted that strong winds will continue to blow during the afternoon and continue until Tuesday morning, recovering to the normal temperature by the afternoon.

On November 16, the lowest recorded morning temperature was down by 4 degrees from the previous day to 3.5 degrees Celsius for Seoul, 2 degrees Celsius for Suwon, 1 degree Celsius for Chungju, and 0 degree Celsius for Chunchon.

The sensory temperature went as low as 1.5 degrees Celsius for Seoul due to a strong wind with a velocity of 5 m/sec.

An official from the weather station requested, “Caution is needed for facilities and agricultural crops. Be careful of fires especially on clear and windy days since the humidity is low.”
