U.S. Marines Arrive in Liberia

A U.S marine is keeping residents away on Aug. 18 while American peacekeepers arrive in Monrovia, Liberia’s capital, to fight the rebels. The rebels and the government came to an understanding aimed at ending the war by sharing power in an interim government, bringing the 4-year war to an end.
