Development of High-tech Smart Card Reader

Hyundai Information Technology (HIT, CEO Kim Sun-bae) has announced sale of a Smart Card Reader called `BSR21`, which is equipped with fingerprint recognition function. This product connects with Personal Computer (PC) through a PC`s USB port. If installed, the user`s fingerprint has to be identical with the personal information stored in the Smart Card. Only then it allows access of the PC. HIT plans a sale of 15,000 units target at finance world for their cyber banking use and R&D organizations for their security against outsider access.
