MJ Seeks His Own Party

Independent lawmaker Chung Mong-joon said on 16th " New party should be `floor party`. To do so it is desirable that lawmakers from ruling and opposition party who have the common mind defect to create new form of party.

He also said " A creation of new party shouldn`t be led by ceratin people but should be done through voluntary participation. In that vein, I am going to meet Park Geun-hye, head of Koran Coalition for the Future, representative of korea future association and Rhee In-je from Democratic Party " hinting his strong determination to launch a new party.

Chung gave such an answer in Jeonnam province ahead of his climbing Mt. Jiri when asked about "Are you preparing for commencing new party?" by reporters

He also added that next president should be the one who can bring about revolutionary changes to prevent extreme confrontation between ruling and opposition parties regardless of who takes office and korean people expects that such revolutionary changes will materialize during the coming presidential election.
