Kyonghi palace (Shinmunro 2ga Jongro-gu, Seoul) will open to citizens from 21st, as first stage restoration from 1988 was completed. The places opened are Sungjeongjeon, which is seen from Heunghwamoon the entrance to Kyonghi palace, Jajeongjeon where king does official work, Taeryungjeon where the portraits of former kings were enshrined. Kyonghi palace built during the reign of Gwanghaegun, king of Chosun, was torn down in 1910 under Japanese imperialism.
