President Kim Arrived in Britain to Discuss the Cooperation of Companies between the Two Countries

President Kim Dae-Jung arrived in London, England, the first European country to visit in his current Europe itinerary, early morning today, and began his official schedule there.

President Kim plans to attend the breakfast meeting, hosted by the CBI, to discuss the measures to strengthen the cooperation of companies between the two countries, including the joint venture to North Korea and the construction plant in a third country. President Kim will hold a summit meeting with Prime Minister Tony Blair tomorrow and will discuss measures to extend trade investment by strengthening the economic cooperation between the two countries. President Kim said at the Seoul Airport yesterday, "The promotion of relationship with the EU is very important not only for our economic future but also for the peace in the Korean peninsula."
