Lee Hoi-Chang, “No Change over Extension of Teachers Retirement Age and Impeachment“

Lee Hoi-Chang, the president of the Grand National Party who is visiting Finland, ordered the party "to respond consistently as the party`s platform." in terms of the domestic controversies on the extension of the teachers retirement age and the summoning of the Prosecutor General to the National Assembly.

Spokesperson Kwon Chul-Hyun added, "the party`s opinion to pass the bill to extend the teachers retirement age during this plenary session has not change at all. However, to avoid the criticism that the opposition party presses the ruling by the majority power, the party left the matter to the floor leader`s discretion."

He also mentioned that "there is no change over the party`s opinion that the Prosecutor General has to attend the National Assembly and the party will move forward to impeach the Director General of the National Intelligence Service and the Prosecutor General if they would not resigned from their offices by the end of this month."
