New Senior Secretary to the President for Policy and Planning

President Kim Dae-Jung appointed Han Duck-Soo, the ambassador to the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), Senior Secretary to the President for Policy and Planning on Nov. 13.

Cheong Wa Dae spokesman Oh Hong-Keun explained the background of the appointment of Han, ``Newly appointed Senior Advisor to the President for Policy and Planning was a specialized government official and is a finance and trade expert who is also equipped with the planning ability and the driving force.``
