President Kim Will Mention Human Resource Reformation Today

President Kim Dae-Jung will express his idea about the human resource reformation, which has been demanded by the party`s reformist groups, at the talkfest of the party`s leaders for the re-settlement of the party in Cheong Wa Dae today.

A high official of the New Millennium Democratic Party said yesterday, `` President had a few reports about the measures to save the party`s situation in terms of the reformation while he was staying in Brunei for `ASEAN + Korea, China, Japan Summit Talks.``

At the talkfest with the 12 Supreme Council members, who had submitted their resignations, President will accept their resignation and will express his idea for the new leadership of the party.

Mid-Way Reformist Forum, the largest group of the party, held a meeting of 31 lawmakers and 7 district leaders in the 63 Building to adopt a resolution that `the reformation of the national administration is inevitable but the final decision about the human management has to be made by the President`.

The Forum also asserted that the collection of signature must be restrained since it could possibly be turned into a political strives among the groups and the matter of national convention should be decided by the party platform after the reorganization of the party system.

In addition, 60 staffs of the Donggyo-dong circle held a press conference at the party`s headquarter in Yoido and denounced the reformists, criticizing ``we will accuse them who are maneuvering the division of the party to the party`s ethics committee by the name of the vice-chairpersons of the districts.``

Meanwhile, Supreme Council member Chung Dong-Young reiterated that the national convention is to be held in January as it is regulated in the party`s constitution and the leadership including the chairperson of the party has to be reshuffled at the convention.
