Japan Tries to Bribe Comfort-Women in China

Dae-Gong newspaper, a pro-China newspaper company, reported on the 24th that Japan tried to unsuccessfully bribe surviving comfort-women, who live in China, Dungnin Hyun Heyrung Jang Seung.

Dae- Gong newspaper quoted a newspaper affiliated to the Ministry of Chinese National Defense, according to this, two Japanese nationals tried to bribe four surviving comfort women(Lee Pyung Win, Chin Soo-Ran, Chi Kui-Wha, Lee Kung Za) with the condition that they do not reveal their identity as comfort-women.

These four women instantly knew that these Japanese tried to make those women dismiss the reparation lawsuit against Japanese government, and refused the offer saying, `` the trauma that you gave to us cannot be healed completely even after a few generations. You cannot silence us by giving large amount of money. We will live cursing you thieves.``

The newspaper did not clarified where they are from, but some of them are believed to come from Korea.

Related to this report, Korean community in Baijing in China said, `` this is not the first time for Japanese to try to bribe comfort women. They seem to have Japanese government or right-wing organizations as their background, considering their systematic strategy.``

Meanwhile, the Chinese newspaper pointed out, `` Japanese Imperialistic group is trying to infiltrate and eliminate their past, but it cannot be succeeded. The more they try to hide, the more it is revealed.``
