Silent Strike Opposing Worship in Shrine

The members of the Korean and Pacific War Survivors Meeting staged yesterday a silent strike in the park adjacent to the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo, to protest against Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi Junichiro`s visit to Yasukuni Shrine. As they visited the Yasukuni Shrine to protest, the Japanese extreme rightists created a commotion, cursing and swearing at the Korean protestors.
